Kamalesh Chatterjee: He has been elected Secretary- for East India. His name was proposed by Mr. Deepak Bahl & elected by the majority of Board members.

As per Mr. G.K.Srivastava President of the Club, Mr. Kamalesh Chatterjee has worked in various senior capacities in different properties of India & certainly Elaborate IHC activities in the entire east India. Presently he is staying in Kolkata.

He is attached to the Hospitality industry for the last 25 years.

He is proficient in Planning, Organizing and Leading a team of human resources for attaining the objectives of effective utilization, satisfactory productivity and Guest satisfaction. Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Managing Internal Operational Audits to ensure consistency in Quality at all levels are some of his strengths.

Identifying Training needs, Designing and conducting training programmes, with the help of various training methodologies are his passion.

He is instrumental in developing several eminent projects as Consultant ranging from mid segment Hotels, Resorts, theme Restaurants, plush Lounge & Bar to Industrial Canteens.

He has the experience of British Airways Flight Catering under ITDC, Ministry of Tourism-Govt. of India as Flight Catering Executive, Hotel Everest Sheraton- Kathmandu, Nepal, as Corporate Training Manager and Executive Housekeeper, Radisson Hotel-Kolkata, as Corporate Training Manager and as a member of the faculty of Institute of Hotel Management- Kolkata under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.

He is the Former Director of several esteemed Institutes viz. Pailan School of International Studies under W. B. University of Technology, IIAS Group of Institutions under Visva Bharati University and Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management under W. B. University of Technology -Kolkata. He is also a former member of the Academic Board of Visva Bharati University- a Central University, Santiniketan, West Bengal.

He is the former programme coordinator of Hotel Management programmes of Institute of Modern Management, Kolkata, Birla Institute of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences, Kolkata, and Trade Wings Institute, Kolkata.
He is a Certified Hospitality Educator ( CHE ) from Educational Institute, American Hotel & Lodging Association-Michigan, USA . He is also a Life Member of Indian Society of Training & Development.

He is a Certified “Designer of Training” from Department of Training, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
