Yours truly,

Dr. K.L.Jain :: Hony. Secretary General :: Rajasthan Chamber Of Commerce & Industry

It gives me great pleasure to know that the Indian Housekeeper's Club (IHC) is shortly coming out with its Ist Souvenir. I consider the housekeeping department to be one of the most critical areas in a Hotel with the least customer interface. It is a very significant back- office function which contributes a great deal to the satisfaction and comfort of the Hotel's guests.

The hospitality industry is witnessing an unprecedented boom in India and is expected to perform very well in the years ahead. In the current fast changing scenario and competition from other service industries, the Housekeeping function is undergoing major upheavals resulting in a whole new outlook to housekeeping management and attracting and retaining appropriate manpower to adapt and align in such evolving times, would remain a challenge. I do hope that the Indian Housekeeper's Club would attempt to develop a cadre of professionally attuned persons for meeting the emerging requirements of the Hospitality industry.
I wish you all a very bright & satisfying future ahead.

Dr. L.M.Bhandari :: General Manager :: Rajasthan Chamber Of Commerce & Industry, Jaipur

Hospitality & Tourism is amongst the fastest growing sectors of the economy. Success of Hospitality industries lies in meeting the challenges of varied tastes trends and time frames of its clients. Naturally, to keep pace with the demands, skilled manpower and specialized management is a must to provide quality services for all events, occasions and products. Birth of Indian Housekeeper's Club and it first conference at Jaipur has an avowed aim of building excellence through human capital. This is a highly innovative and visionary approach of it founder President, Secretary and executive members.

I am highly impressed by the objectives and the future plans of this club that it will help Indian Hospitality Industry to compete and match the increasing multi facial demands. I congratulate the members and wish the club far a very bright future.

It is a matter of great pleasure to learn that Indian House Keeper's Club has launched a website.

House Keeping is a very vital department of Hospitality Industry that most of the people are not aware of. It is the back bone of not only the Hotels but the entire corporate world where properties and their up-keeping is involved. The first impression one derive about any office, hotel, restaurant or a business activity place is created by the House Keepers of that property. It is the only department which keeps working while the rest of the departments are retired for the day.

Your website will definitely bring forth the importance of this department and make the public aware of the same. Since skill and manpower both are involved in making this department strong, your website will help in bridging the communication gap between industry and Hotel Management Institutes as both are inter dependent.

I hope this site will also be helpful to the students by knowing the latest trends prevailing in Industry and it needs to enable them to prepare themselves in a better way.

My best wishes and assurance to you for any help you require from in times to come.

It Is a matter of great pleasure to know that indian Housekeeping Club is organizing Its Annual Convention at Lucknow and to commemorate this memorable occasion , IHC is coming out with a Souvenir.

The hospitality industry is witnessing an unprecedented Growth not only in india but all over the world, therefore, there is a need to train, untrain and retrain the staff all over the world to cater to the demands of global Economy in this “Global Village”.

The Housekeeping department is a very critical department in the industry but Unfortunately, it is not so sought after department for student. Probably because, we have Failed to project it in a right manner that House-Keeping is and can be a great career option Especially at the time of this Retail and Hospitality boom. House-Keeping is nothing but Facility Management in its simple from. So I see a bigger and greater role for IHC in the Times to come.

I am sure; the Indian housekeeping Club under the dynamic leadership of Mr. G.K. Shrivastava will popularize and revolutionize the functioning of each Housekeeper. I wish the entire team of Indian Housekeeping Club a bright and prosperous future and look forward to working closely with you to achieve this objective.
